Items describe a large range of items in the world of wajas. They range from pears fed to wajas to improve their breeding, to small companion animals that decorate their habitats. There are a number of ways to acquire items: purchased from one of the waja shops, purchased from another player by various means, traded, won, recieved as rewards, or given away by the developers.
1. Shops
The shops sell a wide variety of items under a number of categories. The shops restock every fifteen minutes: on the hour, quarter past, half past, and quarter to. Not all items replenish on all restocks, and prices may fluctuate from one restock to the next.

Monthly Items: these are rare items that can only be bought for CWP. These items are usually accessories for your waja's habitat.
Bonus Barn: occasionally, the developers will place an item in the bonus barn that all users with an upgraded account can have for free. Currently, it is Morning the Unicorn, previously it was a white beard.
1.2 Restock Times
The shops restock at :02, :17, :32, and :47 minutes past the hour, every hour.
2. Pears
Pears are fruits that you can feed to your waja. They have a variety of effects on wajas. The pear shop always has a supply of Love Pears, but occasionally will stock a limited number of specialty pears, though these always go quickly. Love pears vary in price throughout the day, so stock up when they are cheap. Pears can also be obtained from the Leaf Exchange, or purchased off the auction house.
The pear shop restocks every fifteen minutes, starting on the hour. Love pears always replenish, but the other pears do not replenish on every restock.

3. Accessory Items
Accessories do not form part of your waja, and are not passed onto offspring, but are transferred with the waja if it is purchased.
To put an accessory or wallpaper on your waja, go to your inventory and click on the item. Select equip and choose the waja. Once the item has been equipped, return to your cave and select the waja. Click on the waja’s image to reset the image, and once the image re-loads, press F5 to refresh the page. This causes the item to appear on/behind your waja.
If you remove an item, you will need to go through the same process. Reset the image and refresh your browser. It might take a little longer for the thumbnail of your waja to update.
For the most amazing list of waja items, visit fuzzy paws (caution: image heavy!). Almost every waja accessory known to man is listed here, along with an image, and links to view what the equipped items look like. At the very bottom of the list, you will find the names of items that are shown in the shop/trade/auction searches that have not been released to players.
4. Specialty Items
There are a lot of exceptionally rare and specialty items in the world of wajas, I couldn’t even begin to expound on them all. However, there are some items that have permanent and irreversible effects on your waja. So fair thee be warned, if you apply one of these items to your waja, they will never be the same again:
